Back from the ashes of the Heavy Metal movement in the eighties, Overlorde is always bringing an amazing album. With only three albums in their discography, everyone knows this band. They have marked the Metal community with their stunning songs that rip it all and mark your brain. Their last effort is from 2004 which makes another big gap. Yet a good band can compose great albums without being so present as some in the scene.
Bands life has many issues, from name to line up and simply personal. It’s not easy for everybody to stick to this scene composed of so many talents. Yet the eighties are what keeps Overlorde on top of the best bands in the genre. Underrated but still kicking the mind, their music is just brilliant it sticks to your brain for life.
Blasting cover artwork, a logo that reminds the good old years, and songs to fight for. This album feels like the band never left. The powerful Heavy Metal hymns and driving force led the listener awake and thrilled to listen more for long.
